비평적 기계학습을 위한 ml5.js 워크숍

알파고와 4차 산업혁명으로 많은 이들의 뇌리에 자리잡은 인공지능 기술에 대해 알아보는 실습+토론 워크숍입니다. 현대 인공지능의 근간을 이루는 기계학습 (머신러닝) 기술이 무엇인지 알아보고, 웹브라우저와 ml5.js 라이브러리를 활용해 간단한 기계학습 모델을 만들어봅니다. 기계학습이 어떻게 작동하는지, 기계학습을 활용한 응용 사례로는 어떤 것이 있는지, 이게 나와 무슨 관계가 있는지 함께 이야기해봅니다.
본 워크숍은 프로세싱 재단과 뉴욕대 ITP의 지원을 받아 2020년 수행한 ml5.js 펠로십 활동의 일환입니다.

Critical Machine Learning with ml5.js: online workshops
This workshop series provides an introduction to artificial intelligence and machine learning, notably popularized in Korea after DeepMind’s AlphaGo beat former Go world champion Lee Sedol. Through a combination of hands-on exercise and discussion, participants will learn basic concepts of machine learning and train a machine learning model using a web browser. We will also discuss some key questions to ask about machine learning applications, and what our relationship with the technology should be.
The workshops are led as part of Achim’s 2020 ml5.js fellowship project, supported by the Processing Foundation and New York University’s ITP program.
